Moffett swam in both the 100 and 200 meter breaststroke at the 1984 Olympic Games in Los Angeles and qualified for the 1980 Olympic Games in Moscow in the 200 meter breaststroke, but did not compete due to the U.S. boycott. As Stanford's No. 13 all-time for scoring 152 at the NCAA Championships, he was a seven-time NCAA Champion at Stanford; a three-time NCAA Champion in the 200 yard breaststroke (1984-86); a two-time NCAA Champion in the 100 breaststroke (1984-85); a two-time member of the NCAA Champion 200 yard medley relay team for Stanford (1985-86); a nine-time Pac-10 Champion; a four-time Pac-10 Champion in the 200 yard breaststroke (1983-86); a two-time Pac-10 Champion in the 100 yard breaststroke (1983, 1985); and a three-time member of the Pac-10 Champion 400 yard medley relay team for Stanford (1983, 1985-86) |
