Biography

Cullen Carroll is in his third year as a Stanford Sports Performance Coach after starting as a volunteer intern in 2014. In addition to being an assistant on the Football Sport Performance Staff, Carroll is the head Men’s Swimming sports performance coach. Coach Carroll has also been the head sports performance coach for Men’s Gymnastics and has also assisted with Wrestling during his time on The Farm.

Before coming to Stanford, Carroll was an assistant at Wake Forest University, assisting with all aspects of the football program. While at Wake Forest, Carroll was the head Men’s Rugby performance coach, while also assisting with all aspects of Men’s & Women’s Soccer, Baseball, Track and Field, and Women’s Field Hockey.

A native of Petaluma, Calif. Carroll graduated from Willamette University in 2013 with a degree in Exercise Science. He played football for the Bearcats from 2009-2012, earning All-Northwest Conference honors as a linebacker.

  • Strength and Conditioning Coach Certified (SCCC) through the Collegiate Strength and Conditioning Coaches Association (CSCCa)
  • Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) through the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA)
  • CPR/AED/First Aid certified through the American Heart Association
